Bittersweet

Bittersweet:

*Enjoying the quiet and the solitude of our marriage, but missing the girls like crazy. Can't wait to pick them up tomorrow!

*Fretting about having to take off work on Monday and how far behind it will put me (and possibly let down patients/families) but looking forward to getting an entire lazy day at home alone with my girls and a long weekend!

*Sad to hear that Addi is feeling under the weather, but looking forward to all the snuggles that will bring (as normally she rarely holds still long enough to truly snuggle)!

*Excited for another year of adventures with my family, but sad about all of the things another year means we leave behind and that much sooner until I have to let them go (school, boys, college!) and another day closer to the grave (as B. Dylan would say).  Or at least that much closer to my first gray hair!
