So we come in today to find that little miss Lili has bottled the last FOUR feedings in a row taking her amount or MORE and then went on to bottle feed two more times for us even after her bath! Holy Moley! What has gotten into our little miss? She nearly ate off our fingers as we tried to get her bathed! We are headed back in tonight to take in their car seats for their car seat tests and watch our videos as it will be only a matter of days before they are home at this rate! How surreal...
Addi, not to be completely out done has been bottle feeding 2 out of 3 feedings which is a VAST improvement. Also, she lost her umbilical cord overnight and got to take her first tub bath. She loved it! Not a peep, just wide eyed and smiley!
Such strong, amazing girls we have... We are so proud and so blessed!

ReplyDeleteYou posted earlier that you will have the girls share a crib when they get home - how great! If there is room, you could put your extra crib in your kitchen. That way the girls will be close by if they are awake and you need to get some things done in the kitchen and you can tell them everything you are doing. (We use a pack'nplay and Charlie still goes in our kitchen with us when we have work to do in there...he goes in the playpen when we are working with the oven/stove or with knives, but now that he's 19-months-old he WANTS to help stir up cookies, sort laundry, "wash" the dishes and sweep the floor).
They grow up fast!
You might find when the girls get home that you don't have time to enter stuff in their baby books, but rest assured - you have already started an amazing baby book/memory book with your blog.
If I was a tad more creative and knew your address, I would print off all of your wonderful postings and the comments and put them in a scrapbook for a super-duper baby book and send it to you!
If we ever have another child, I will do what you did and keep a precious journal of the goings on and such of pregnancy and newborn miracles.

Totally amazing! Wow, They must have gotten the message that mommy and daddy want them home very badly! So happy for all of you! Can't wait to see them in their own cribs (or crib). Look out Lucky and Maggie...the "lap" competition is moving in!
