This actually ended up being more enjoyable than I expected. The girls have been asking me to show them to knit so this felt like a natural compromise. We went to the store and let them choose their own color.
They were fairly cooperative and patient and I think I can safely say the same for me. Anyone that had ever had to instruct two preschoolers in an activity that requires a large amount of hands on instruction should feel my pride in staying level headed :)
As evidenced by the pictures some had more fun than the others.
