Your weekend update

Auntie Lori came to visit (much too short *sigh*) and spend a couple days in our crazy little house. Between meltdowns, feeding frenzys amongst middle aged women and poop up to Brian's elbow... well, let's just say she made sure to leave early this morning :) In all seriousness though, she is definitely one of our favorite peoples and I, specifically, as well as the rest of us miss her very much already. It is very hard having my sisters so far from me. It is also weird to realize that my baby sis has yet to even meet my girls. It's even weirder to know that she is getting married! (1. It makes me feel hella old 2. She hasn't even called to tell me- what's up with that bee-otch? Holla'! (sorry about that, it's a sister thing)).

Off on a tangent. Sorry. Anyways... Took the girls shopping today and to Panera for coffee, scones, bagels and dice games. It's so freeing to get out of the house as a family. Bri and I had a good time and are blessed to have girls that sleep for hours on end peacefully in their carseats. Now if we could just get complete strangers to stop touching them. People, we are not circus freaks! Nope. Although Brian's mustache has been looking particularly curly lately. Damn mustache wax...

We did have a stylish weekend in our super cute new striped outfits from Jen O. The girls loved them! They are super comfy. They send their thanks.

Also, we are super stoked to hear that Auntie Julie has finally booked a flight to come and stay with us! The countdown begins...
