Mini Getaway

Well, not really. At least it doesn't feel like that. It's getting better though. We left yesterday for Gma Deb's. It was a pleasant car ride with sleepy, happy girls. A quick stop in Marshal to see Auntie Lori's new digs and we were on the road again with Lori in tow. We arrived safe and sound to an empty house, fed the girls and then the screaming started. Off and on, one and then the other for nearly 2 hours. Everyone finally settled just as the grandparents were arriving home. Off to bed and a good reminder of why the girls don't sleep in our room. Noisy little ladies that were having a hard time keeping their nuks in their mouths and an even harder time living without them! But so far today they seem much improved in mood and are playing with their Auntie as we speak. We've had some famous homemade Sketti n' Meatballs so I think we are feeling better too! Visitors this evening as the girls make their "debut". Promises to be fun, but a little exhausting- hopefully for them! He-he! Pics to come...
