Well, another weekend come and gone. All around it was a good one. A chicken went nuts and laid about 3 dozen eggs in our fridge (thank-you). We had the pleasure of an all girls luncheon with the MIL, the SIL and my little niece. I had the chance to have a nice heart to heart with my MIL (much needed, thank you. It's nice to know another oldest sibling) and learn that my hubby is much like his father who once again fell in love with his mother. History does repeat itself. Although, mine is a love of birds rather than a fear of them ;)
Lots of goofing and giggling and feeling like the couple that first fell in love rather than the couple that grew from all of life's surprises and hard work. Nothing wrong with the latter, but it is fun to feel lightweight again even though it might mean nearly peeing your pants while being tickled on the kitchen floor.
The girls got the chance to look ever so cute in their pigtails, once again winning the hearts of family and strangers. They also got to talk with their gma over the phone or rather stare at the phone all perplexed like. It's pretty adorable.Lili and Nana became good friends looking at books and Addi was somewhat brave but mostly a mama's baby as usual.
What started as playful wrestling on the Pooh couch Saturday afternoon soon turned into tears. Nothing out of sorts noted at the time other than a tear striken, red faced little Adeline. Off for naps only to discover upon waking the reason for the tears earlier. If you look closer at Addi's face you'll notice the perfect shape of Lili's mouth. Ouch.
