Gobble Gobble

Well, better late than never. Despite the icky weather, we managed to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Typically we would join Bri's family for a weird, but fun, family gathering/costume party. What with two small kids, we have become a bit more cautious during winter travel. So instead, we stayed at home and invited our friends Kara & Eric over to join us for some delicious food and wine.

We had the world's most scrumptious turkey and 5 bottles of wine amongst the 4 of us. Yes, 5! Tons of fun, relaxing and heart warming. I don't have the opportunity do these things with friends much or maybe I just don't make the effort. Either or, it was a good time. The ladies had a blast playing and dancing to the music the boys play. They put up no struggle at bed time and slept through all the laughter.
I don't know WHAT Lili was doing?! Nice picture face, huh?

Saturday my family was able to come up and join us for an after Thanksgiving celebration. Beef stew, home baked bread and more laughter and fun. The girls showed the gang their new favorite song "Wheels on the Bus" with words and hand gestures and the lot. Another good day filled with love and laughter!
